Early Childhood

Early Childhood

At Bethlehem Christian School, we continue our commitment to providing quality Christ-centered education, starting with our youngest learners in our Early Childhood program. The preschool and pre-k program is a place where our school's youngest students learn and grow in a dynamic, well-organized educational environment.

In 2024, our Early Childhood program received a four-star rating by the Pennsylvania Keystone Stars accrediting body, ensuring parents that BCS is providing the highest level of education for their child.

Teaching Staff
Our teachers are dedicated to the safety and well-being of each child enrolled in the BCS preschool program. Each staff member must meet our standards of skills in teaching. An ongoing program of staff development assures continuous assessment and improvement in our school program.

Program
Children age 3 (by September 1) through age 5 are eligible for our preschool program. Children experience a variety of activities and interactive play focused on educating the 'whole child'.

Enrollment
Our preschool enrolls children regardless of race, color, national origin or sex. Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis throughout the school year. For more information, please call our Early Childhood director Mrs. Sharon Kritzberger at 610-865-9557.
Parental support of the school's philosophy, statement of faith, educational objectives, and operating regulations is a prerequisite for enrollment of any child.

Parents as Partners
Our preschool works closely with parents to ensure the maximum benefit from early schooling. We accomplish this by asking each family to be involved with the education of their child and partner with us in discovering the best ways to meet their child's needs.
