Silver Cord Service Society

The Bethlehem Christian School Silver Cord Program is an opportunity for students to be recognized for completing 160 hours of community service during their four years of high school. The Silver Cord Program will encourage, recognize and reward students who make contributions to their community through service.

Students are limited to 8 hours of service per day and all hours must be submitted prior to the end of the school year in which they are completed.  Silver Cord hours must meet a clearly defined need for an agency, charity program, church, social service group or community event. Students may not receive payment or credits for their services.  Service hours completed over the summer will be accepted.
