Mrs. Sams

Hi, I am Jillian Sams and I teach first grade here at BCS. I attended Eastern University in St. Davids, PA to become a PA certified elementary school teacher in addition to holding a Math Teaching Certificate for grades K-12. My previous experience is in city schools teaching 2nd grade in Chester, PA, 7th grade reading at Harrison Morton Middle School and then high school math courses for 9-12 grades at Lincoln Leadership Academy in Allentown. I am part of the BCS community as both a parent and a teacher and it is such a privilege to be a part of educating tomorrow’s leaders while equipping them with the knowledge of God!

When I am not teaching, I love spending time with my husband Matt and our three children. We love to play games, have movie nights and visit the beach. I came to know the Lord when I was in kindergarten so I truly believe that training up a child in the knowledge of the Lord is of the utmost importance!
