Mrs. Roshi

Hi! My name is Tonya Roshi. I teach third grade here at BCS. I attended Eastern Mennonite University where I received my B.A. in Elementary Education. A few years later I earned my Masters of Education with a Reading Specialist endorsement from James Madison University. After attending college in Virginia, I started teaching and started a family a few years later. Through my 12 years of teaching experience, I have taught every grade from Kindergarten through fifth grade either as a regular education teacher, or in a reading specialist role. Of all the grades I have taught, third grade is my absolute favorite! In 2018, God called us to move to Pennsylvania. He opened the door for me to return to BCS as a third grade teacher. I attended BCS from Kindergarten through 8th grade. The staff, teachers, and peers were part of my extended family growing up. It has been a huge blessing to not only teach at, but bring my children to the very school that was so influential in my life.

One of my favorite verses: Isaiah 40:31 “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
